TWO 15-year-old boys have admitted having an imitation firearm and carrying out a robbery at a Redditch off-licence.
The youths, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Worcester Crown Court and are due to return for sentencing on March 3.
The raid at TCL in Evesham Street, Redditch, was carried out on January 8 this year at about 9pm.
The proprietor, who was alone, was threatened by the raiders, who had their faces covered, and a pellet was fired though no-one was hurt.
Both the boys admitted stealing money, alcohol and cigarettes and having a gas-powered BB gun with intent to commit robbery.
Recorder Chris Bright, QC, told them they had pleaded guilty to serious offences and the court would be considering custody. They were granted bail.
