FORGE Mill in Redditch is hosting some fun and arty drop-in workshops during half term on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 18 and 19.

Painted Quilts is inspired by the museum's new quilt exhibition entitled Connections and will involve children and families mixing their own paint following a recipe.

They can then get creative and produce their own square to become part of a painted quilt with Redditch connections.

The workshops will be led by Sarah Burns who is a student of fine art from Staffordshire University.

Families can drop in any time between 11am and 3pm to have a go at the activity. There is no charge for the workshops but usual museum entry fees apply to visit the Connections exhibition and the rest of the museum. The museum is free to Redditch residents on a Wednesday.
