THIS year sees the Redditch Choral Society celebrate its 50th anniversary.
The group performs major choral works with professional soloists and orchestras under the direction of Alma Bright Clarke.
As well as enjoying well known music, such as Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Creation and many others, the choir has commissioned and performed many compositions in its time.
It is now after singers to join in all parts sopranos, contraltos, tenors and basses as the group is preparing for a very special show.
To mark the choral society's special milestone a concert will be held on June 7.
The group practises every Wednesday at 7.45 at Crabbs Cross Methodist Church.
A spokesman said: "The society is a friendly choir with no age limit, and is always very welcoming of new members (especially tenors and basses) so do come along.
"You will be asured of a very enjoyable and friendly practice."
