AWARD-winning raconteur Gyles Brandreth, now a television presenter, was once a Conservative junior minister, wrote a biography of the Queen and Prince Phillip and was at Oxford with Bill Clinton.

Gyles, also now a comedian, will be taking to the Palace Theatre stage with his new show Looking For Happiness.

When Gyles set out to find the secret of how to be happy he started in Las Vegas and ended up in the psychiatrist's chair.

What he discovered about who gets to be happy and how, plus other useful lessons picked up along the way from Frank Sinatra, Frankie Howerd, and The Queen among others, provide the essence of a unique one-man show that promises some big laughs ans plenty of life lessons.

The Just A Minute regular and One Show reporter has recently appeared on QI, Countdown, The Matt Lucas Awards, Have I Got News For You, Countdown and Desert Island Discs.

He will be coming to the Palace Theatre on Monday, February 10 starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced £17.75 (inclusive of booking fee 75p per seat up to a maximum £3).
