NEXT Saturday there’s an oriental feel to an artistic class taking place at Ragley Studios near Alcester.
Artists will get a chance to try out some traditional Chinese brush painting, getting an idea for some of the symbolism incorporated traditional examples of brush paintings.
The art form examines the idea that people see the pattern of life in all its natural forms, and that even simple paintings can express a vitality and harmony inspired by nature.
The art session, which is taking place on Saturday, January 25, costs £45, which includes a starter pack full of specialised materials, and budding artists will learn how to paint with shapes and colours with a Chinese brush.
For more information on the session contact Dawn Harris on 07889 718242.
