BIKERS are reminded that they only have a few days left to sign up for a £10 half-day Take Control winter riding course to enhance their motorcycling skills over the winter months.
The course is being held at The Rubicon Centre in Redditch this Sunday, January 5. At just £10, instead of the full price of £90 for a half day training session, the course offers fantastic value for money for bikers looking to improve their safety and become a more confident and competent rider.
Take Control is the Safer Roads Partnership’s motorcycle skills enhancement course for bikers who want to brush up on their biking skills, gain more confidence on their bike or become a better rider in preparation for their full test. The course is generally run as a half day or full day course and is tailored to the needs of individual riders.
The winter riding course is a half-day session, being held at The Rubicon Centre from 9.30am until 12.30pm. Sessions will be delivered by advanced trained and qualified instructors from RMT Motorcycle Training and riders wishing to take advantage of this offer must pre-book by calling 01527 500333. Payment will be taken at the time of booking. After completing the course, riders will also receive a high-vis biker rucksack, earplugs and a Take Control neck buff.
To be eligible for the course, motorcyclists must be over the age of 16 years and own their own moped, scooter or motorbike and have adequate protective clothing. Moped riders must have passed their CBT (Compulsory Basic Training).
