POLICE are appealing for information about a Christmas Day assault in Redditch, which left a man with broken teeth.

It happened on Unicorn Hill between 3am and 4am on Wednesday, 25th December.

The victim intervened when a man who he did not know began making comments to a female friend.

He was kicked and punched, and his top front teeth were shattered. He also sustained soreness to his ankle and hand, and a swollen eye.

It is believed there were three offenders, one of whom was described as a white man, aged about 21, approximately 5ft 10 to 5ft 11ins tall, of chubby build, with spiky hair.
