RESIDENTS are reminded that over the Christmas period there will be closures at the customer services centre in the town hall.

Over the festive period it will be closed from December 24-29, reopening on Monday, December 30.

It will be closed on New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1 but after this, normal opening hours will resume.

Residents should also be aware that there are no bin collections on December 25 or 26, or January 1 and revised collection days for several areas. Normal service resumes on January 7.

If the council experiences snow and icy weather and cannot get to residents on collection day, they are asked to leave their bin out and the council will return as soon as possible. Contact 01527 881188 for more details.
