REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley helped celebrate the 50th anniversary of Redditch New Town by welcoming the High Street minister Brandon Lewis MP to the town.
They visited the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, along with the Redditch Town Centre Partnership, shopping centre manager Ken Williams and Redditch Council chief executive Kevin Dicks.
Mrs Lumley said: "I know Brandon Lewis was very impressed with the quality of the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, and the sheer numbers of people visiting.
"It really was a great honour to show the minister the wonderful shopping facilities we have in this town and I do encourage people to support our town centre.
"I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in the town a wonderful build up to the Christmas period."
