HELP is needed to identify a man who indecently exposed himself to teenage girls on a footpath at Woodrow, Redditch.

Both offences happened at about 3pm on Thursday, December 5, on a path at Woodrow Drive and close to Nine Days Lane.

The girls were walking separately when they were approached by a man who made remarks to them before exposing himself. In both instances the teenagers ran from the scene.

The man appeared to be in his 30s and was white, around 5ft 8ins tall, and slim with short brown hair. he was wearing a bright blue puffer jacket and black trousers.

PC Danny Somner said: “These incidents happened almost straight after each other and were extremely unpleasant and upsetting for the victims. This is a busy pathway which is close to a hospital and a school and the offences were committed at a time when many children and parents would have been walking and driving home after the school day.

“We would obviously be interested to hear from anyone who may have seen this man in that area that afternoon and in particular if they know or think they know who he is.”

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact officers at Redditch Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the incident reference 474-S-051213. Details may also be passed on anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
