A FARM shop in Dunnington near Alcester is parcelling up a very local Christmas with a combination of locally sourced food and a good read by a local author.
Evesham-based author Lindsay Stanberry-Flynn will be making an appearance at Hillers Farm Shop on Thursday, December 19, signing copies of her new novel 'The Piano Player’s Son', which tells the story of a family torn apart by a devastating secret, and Hillers is hoping to parcel up some of the shop's locally sourced tasty treats to make the perfect accompaniment for cozy winter evening in.
Owner Sally Hiller said: “Teaming up with a local author is a great match. Locally sourced goodies, with delicious produce, drinks and a good book - what better way to spend a blissful evening in front of the fire?”
Ms Stanberry-Flynn will be at the shop between 10am and 11.30am on Thursday, December 19 signing and selling copies of the novel.
She added: “Hillers is a wonderful place, and a lovely setting for a book signing. I’m really looking forward to it.”
