COMING to Feckenham Village Hall is one of the most prestigious events ever to grace the hall in all its 78 year history.
The Lovesong of Alfred J Hitchcock is a brand new play written by one of the UK’s best dramatists and performed by the country’s leading touring theatre company.
New Perspectives Theatre Company is working with David Rudkin to stage this brand new show.
It opened at Leicester’s 800 seat Curve Theatre to great critical acclaim and will play at theatres in Brighton, Derby, Doncaster and Bury St Edmunds before arriving in Feckenham on Sunday, October 27.
The show will continue on the road and end up in London’s West End.
Alfred Hitchcock, at the height of his powers, is possessed by a dreamlike vision of a woman.
From his director’s chair the 60-year-old Hitchcock begins to unravel some of the defining films of our time, drawing us into the imagination of one of the world’s most mysterious creative minds.
Ian Bellion, from the village hall said: “We're particularly proud to have arranged this performance.
“It's the only one in the Midlands and one of only two to take place in a non-theatrical venue.”
