Annual bonfire and firework display at Redditch Fire Station
8:30am Monday 21st October 2013 in News
FIREFIGHTERS are getting ready for their annual bonfire and firework display at Redditch Fire Station.
The event will open at 6pm, with the bonfire being lit at 7.30pm and the firework display starting a short while later.
As in previous years, there will be a range of children’s activities and roundabout rides, as well as a selection of hot food and refreshments available.
Redditch Young Firefighters will be helping on the night and the Red Cross will also be on hand for any first aid requirements.
Organiser Bob Morris, based at Redditch Fire Station, said: “Local people come back to this event year after year to enjoy the firework display and the traditional bonfire as well.
“Organised events are always the safest option for Bonfire Night and we hope that we will attract a good crowd at this year’s bonfire party.”
He reminded anyone planning to drive to the Redditch Fire Station event to park safely and considerately in nearby roads, and to note that there will not be any parking available at the fire station itself.
It takes place on Bonfire Night itself, Tuesday, November 5.
Entry will cost £3.50 per adult and £2 per child.
