REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley visited the ‘Your Ideas’ youth and community project in Matchborough last week to meet some of the people involved.
The project in a non-profit organisation, which works with young people and other members of the community to improve the quality of life in the area.
Staff use practical hands on activities and projects to work with residents, and they’ve created somewhere which aims to make residents feel comfortable and valued.
Mrs Lumley: “It was fantastic to visit the ‘Your Ideas’ centre in Matchborough. It allows young people to have a creative outlet and the work they do goes towards building a stronger, more inclusive community. The staff impressed me with their dedication and hard work as well as the Your Ideas students whose passion was fantastic to see.”
