Pupils benefit from unique visit
3:10pm Saturday 5th October 2013 in News
YOUNGSTERS at Woodrow First School recently got the unique chance to learn about Palestinian culture, customs and language first hand.
As part of an exchange project organised by the Qattan Foundation, which seeks to invest in people and their lives, a number of Palestinian teachers visited the school.
The exchange project will also see Woodrow First School teachers visit Palestine and teach young students.
A school spokesman said that the pupils enjoyed the visit and were able to benefit from being able to speak to teachers who are from a very different culture.
