Schools across Redditch affected as teachers strike

TEACHERS across Redditch and surrounding villagers are on strike today in a row over pay, pensions and workloads.
The walkout is affecting schools in 49 authorities in the east of England, the Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber.
It is part of a continuing campaign of rolling regional strikes involving members of the NUT and NASUWT.
There are full closures at the following local schools: Alvechurch CE middle, Batchley first, Moons Moat first, Pitcheroak, Ridgeway middle, Roman Way first, St Augustine’s Catholic high, St Bede’s Catholic middle, The Kingfisher, and Walkwood CE middle.
And there are also partial closures at Abbeywood first, Birchensale middle, Church Hill middle, Crown Meadow first and nursery, Holyoakes Field first, Inkberrow first, Ipsley CE RSA Academy, Kingsley College, Oak Hill first, St Stephen’s CE first, and Trinity high and sixth form centre, and Woodfield Academy.
In Studley, St Mary’s CofE junior is open to staff, and Studley infant and Studley high are fully closed.
