Chance to learn how to cope with stress on free course
10:30am Monday 30th September 2013 in News
A FREE course, helping people to cope better with emotional and everyday stresses, is being made available to Bromsgrove and Redditch residents.
Empowering People In Communities (EPIC), a Bromsgrove-based social enterprise organisation, has launched two new MoodMaster courses that are being run in the towns.
The programme is designed to be upbeat and friendly, teaching a wide range of simple techniques to cope with everyday stresses and worries more effectively, and also help people get more out of their lives.
Bromsgrove’s course is being held at the Sidemoor Health Hub, Perryfields Road, from 10am until 11am on Tuesday mornings.
It runs for 11 weeks beginning on Tuesday, October 8.
Redditch’s course also begins this Tuesday and runs for 11 weeks.
The course is held on Tuesday afternoons, from 1pm until 2pm, and takes place at Redditch Library, in Market Place.
The course is free to anyone in receipt of certain benefits, including Jobseekers Allowance, and anyone below a level two qualification.
Anyone interested can book on a course by calling Jane Taylor, from EPIC, on 01527 873353.
