Get behind parish councillors and help shape the future of Studley
8:30am Wednesday 11th September 2013 in News
EVERY household in Studley has been written to by the parish council, urging them to help shape the future of the town.
In September 2012, residents received a questionnaire from the parish council about the future of Studley. Nearly a third of residents responded to the survey.
The results have now been analysed and collated. Issues have been identified and it is now time to consider the way forward in the form of an action plan for presentation to Stratford District Council, Warwickshire County Council and other agencies.
For the action plan to be effective it has to demonstrate that all residents have had opportunities to give their input. So the parish council is inviting residents to join them for refreshments and visit the exhibition of the results of the survey on Saturday, September 21 from 10am until 4pm in the village hall.
A spokesman said: “This will also be the opportunity for you to suggest ways to a parish councillor of approaching and dealing with the results of the survey.
“Your comments will be recorded and then formed into an action plan. Once this has been completed, it will be submitted in draft form to Stratford District Council. In this way, the parish council knows it has the support of the community when it argues for action for the village and what residents of Studley would like them to focus on.”
Once the plan has been accepted and formally adopted a summary overview will be published.
