10:21am Monday 2nd September 2013 in News
THE sentencing of a Tardebigge father and son who ran a children’s entertainment firm, charged with possessing child pornography, has been adjourned for five weeks.
Robert and Nigel Bourne, who ran Tardebigge-based Funbusters, were due to be dealt with at Worcester Crown Court after being found guilty of having under-age pornography on their computers.
Their business was run from their home In Hewell Lane, Tardebigge, and it was there that police found a total of 280 images of child abuse and extreme pornography on their computers.
Judge Richard Rundell adjourned the sentencing after hearing that a probation report for Nigel Bourne had not been made. He gave the pair bail until an appearance at Hereford Crown Court in the week beginning October 7.
Robert Bourne, 52-year-old former builder, launched the Funbusters business and his assistant had been his son Nigel, 28.
