Beckett's Farm hopes loyal customers will help it scoop prestigious award

A WYTHALL business is hoping customer power will help it scoop a prestigious award.
Beckett’s Farm – a business which has been run by the same family for three generations – is taking part in the brand new Farm Shop and Deli Awards.
The awards have been organised by Olives Et Al to recognise the best standard in speciality retail and to celebrate the highest levels of service, product knowledge, initiative, innovation and community involvement.
Holly Beckett, Beckett’s events manager and fourth generation family member, said a vital part of the judging criteria was gaining votes from customers to tell the judges what they think of Beckett’s Farm shop and she was hoping customers and suppliers will back the business as a winner.
“As a business we take great pride in winning awards, having been named family business of the year in the most recent family business awards,” she said.
“Our employees and customers also take a sense of pride when a local business wins an award which is why we are asking for their help to support our entry as the Farm Shop of the Year.”
People can vote for Beckett’s Farm at www.farmshopanddeliawards.co.uk or picking up a voting form at Beckett’s Farm shop. The awards will also feature on Beckett’s Facebook page and Twitter feeds.
People who vote will be entered into a draw to win a foodie hamper from the farm shop and deli awards.
Category winners and 10 regional champions will be crowned. The regional winners will progress through to win the overall coveted title of ‘Farm Shop and Deli Awards Retailer of the Year’ announced at the Farm Shop and Deli Show, on March 25, 2014 at Birmingham’s NEC.
