A FORMER Redditch United player, Christian evangelist and Neil Diamond tribute act has written a book as a direct response to what he calls ‘militant atheism and the Richard Dawkins bestseller ‘The God Delusion’.
The book, ‘The God Solution’ is the first by Ian Stott, who has lived in Redditch for the past 41 years. With it he’s hoping to reach people who know little or nothing about the Bible or what it contains, and provide them with evidence for God, whilst highlighting what he sees as the weakness of the argument for atheism and evolution.
The book also delves into secret societies and the influence they have in the world.
Mr Stott, who used to play semi-professional football for Redditch United and Alcester Town Football Club, was made redundant from his job in IT in 1995, and has been working as a Neil Diamond tribute act on cruise ships throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean ever since.
He has had several songs and poems published, but this is his first book.
