A CHARITY motorbike ride-out in memory of Redditch man Nigel Shakespeare has been rescheduled due to the adverse weather conditions.

Mr Shakespeare, or Shaggy, as he was known to his friends, died following an incident in Sillins Avenue, in Lakeside, on Sunday, February 24. He was walking home from the Kings Arms pub with his partner when it happened.

Three youths have since been charged with manslaughter and released on bail.

The ride-out, which is being held to raise money to help cover Mr Shakespeare’s funeral expenses, and for the biking community to pay tribute to Mr Shakespeare was due to take place tomorrow, Saturday, March 23.

But it has been rescheduled for next Saturday, March 30, leaving from the same venue, Hopwood Park Services, at 10am, and heading to Bridgnorth Bikers Cafe.

Anyone who does not wish to take part in the ride, but would like to donate can do so at The Kings Arms in Redditch, The Royal Oak in Studley and at Doug’s Cycles in Studley.
