Animal magic on offer at Studley Garden Centre

Youngsters enjoy Trevor Hill’s Animal Encounters Youngsters enjoy Trevor Hill’s Animal Encounters

FOLLOWING the success of ‘Trevor Hill’s Animal Encounters’ at Studley Garden Centre last half term, the fun-filled show will be returning on Thursday, April 11, from 11am to 4pm.

The Henley Road-based centre is offering another chance for children to meet a range of fascinating and unusual animals, ranging from tarantulas and tortoises to reptiles and insects. Trevor Hill will be on hand throughout the workshop to provide fun facts about the animals, and answer questions.

Other animals on display include meerkats and armadillos - with a few children even getting the chance to have a photograph taken with their favourite animal for free.

There will also be a face painter on site throughout the day, the classic hook-a-duck game, with a prize for all those who have a go and a candy floss stall.

In addition to the children’s activities, there is plenty for parents to do at the centre, including enjoying a treat in the café, a visit to the food and cookery shop, or browsing the range of flowers, plants and gifts on offer.
