PARENTS and guardians won’t need to worry about keeping their children entertained this Easter break as Redditch Council’s Sports Development team provides ‘Easter Sizzle’.

The team will be running a two week ‘Easter Sizzle’ course for children aged between five and 12. Sizzle provides a mix of active games, sports and multi-skill activities including swimming for over eights.

In week one, the course will run from Tuesday, April 2 to Friday, April 5 April and week two will run from Monday, April 8 to Friday, April 12. The fun games and activities will take place on each of these days from 9am until 3.15pm (8.45am drop off).

Head of leisure and cultural services, John Godwin, said: “It’s important to a lot of parents to keep their kids busy during school holidays and Easter Sizzle is a great way to do this. Not only will it keep them busy, active and making new friends but it means adults can have a rest too.”

Sessions cost £15 per day (Non Reddicard), £10 per day (Reddicard) or £7.50 per day (Concessionary Reddicard).  People will get a free day if booking the full two weeks.

The Easter Sizzle activities will take place at Kingsley Sports Centre and run by fully qualified CRB checked staff.
