WANT to be the next Michael Mcintyre, Sean Lock, Russell Howard or Sarah Millican? Well here is the chance.

Redditch’s Palace Theatre is offering a five week intensive course in stand up comedy.

Led by local impresario Theo Theobald, people will get the chance to experience the awesome adrenaline rush of making an audience laugh.

They will receive five weeks of write-and-rehearse workshops to build skills and bolster their confidence followed by a live show in the theatre’s Room Upstairs.

A Palace Theatre spokesman said: “Dozens of former students have learned their comedy craft, overseen by Theo Theobald with several going on to begin fledgling stand-up careers.”

The course, for those aged 18 or over, costs £90 and runs between April 15 and May 7.
