Go Snooker Loopy at the Palace Theatre

Chas and Dave Chas and Dave

THEY pioneered the 'Rockney' genre with their blend of memorable songs, music-hall humour and rock 'n' roll.

And now, due to phenomenal demand from fans, Chas and Dave are back and on an extensive UK tour, including the Palace Theatre.

The now-cult duo began writing and performing songs together in 1972, having been friends since the early 60s.

They reached the top 20 in 1979 with Gertcha, which became a nationwide catchphrase.

This was followed by The Sideboard Song (Got My Beer In The Sideboard Here), Rabbit and probably best know song Snooker Loopy.

They have also written songs for TV shows such as Till Death Do Us Part and Only Fools and Horses.

The first half of the show will consist of Chas and Dave’s pub set ending with Gertcha in 1979 - the start of their success.

The second half will feature all their hits since then.

Chas and Dave will be at the Palace Theatre on Wednesday, April 10 from 7.30pm with tickets costing £22.50.
