Rainbows enjoy Jailbreak Challenge

Rainbows’ Jailbreak Challenge Rainbows’ Jailbreak Challenge

FIRST Ipsley Rainbows enjoyed a sleepover recently and completed the 'Jailbreak Europe Challenge' to raise funds for a group of Worcestershire senior section members to compete in a challenge around Europe against other regional teams.

In the one evening, the Rainbows sampled activities from four different European countries. Starting in North Sweden the girls enjoyed taking part in team snowball fights, then it was down to Italy to create ice cream fridge magnets.

As darkness descended a quick stop was made in Switzerland to make lanterns and then a visit to a Belgium chocolate factory to make delicious truffles, before sleeping overnight back in Redditch.

The International Jailbreak Challenge takes place over eight days during July and August with teams earning points by completing various challenges in a minimum of three European countries.

Parole can only be achieved when a certain number of points are obtained and can be granted at the finish in Birmingham.
