Police dogs show off their skills to Beavers

1st Birchensale Beaver Scouts meet PC Keith Bennett and his police dogs
MEMBERS of 1st Birchensale Beaver Scouts had some exciting visitors at a recent colony meeting.
PC Keith Bennett, a dog handler with West Midlands Police, brought along H and Scar, two working dogs.
He explained how the dogs were used to help the police to fight crime. H and Scar showed off their skills to the Beavers by finding objects through their sense of smell.
The Beavers asked lots of questions and were really enthusiastic about the visit.
The Beavers have been working towards their Friendship Challenge badge and meeting someone who serves the community is part of that badge.
