Trailer fire on M42

A LORRY trailer went up in flames on the M42 in the early hours of this morning.

Fire crews from Redditch and Bromsgrove were called out to the fire between junction one and two at about 1.30am.

The driver disconnected the lorry from the trailer and no-one was injured.

The fire is believed to have been caused by a faulty brake drum.
