THE Primrose Hospice has thanked the daughter of a Redditch councillor, who died last year, after she had her head shaved to raise much-needed funds.

Lisa King, daughter of former Redditch councillor Robin King, who passed away in March after a hard-fought battle with cancer, raised the superb amount of £1,342.90 for Primrose Hospice by being sponsored to have her head shaved, for free, by Mr Stopps barbers in Headless Cross.

Miss King said: “My dad only visited the hospice for a short amount of time, but that time really helped us, along with all the ongoing support that I have received.”
