Animal theme to FeckenOdeon screenings

THERE’S an unusual animal theme to the screenings at Feckenham’s FeckenOdeon Cinema Society this weekend.

On Saturday, March 8 at 8pm the society is screening Red Dog, a true story about a dog who wins over a mining town in the Australian Outback while looking for its lost owner, based on a book by Louis De Bernieres.

On Sunday, March 9 at 2.30pm there will be a screening of the second chapter in the Chronicles of Narnia, Prince Caspian, which features everything from a talkative badger, to a sword wielding mouse, along with the Pevensie children from the Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and of course Aslan the lion.

Both films are suitable for children, although Red Dog is rated PG.

Tickets are £4.50 or £3.50 for concessions, and they will be on sale for both shows at Feckenham Village Shop. Alternatively they can be booked at feckenodeon.co.uk or on 0844 8700887.
