NOTHING says ‘I love you’ more than a beautiful, hand-made gift on Mother’s Day – and children can make just that at a local garden centre this Saturday.

Henley Road-based Studley Garden Centre is holding a fun Mother’s Day Potting Event on Saturday 9th March from 11am – 3pm, at just £3.99 per child.

Youngsters of all ages are invited to go along to the garden centre and pot three pretty primroses into a basket for their mums. They can also make their own gift card to take home, making a touching Mothering Sunday gift that will be remembered for years to come.

There will also be bouncy castle for youngsters to enjoy.

In addition to its Mother’s Day event, Studley Garden Centre is also running activities for Garden Re-Leaf Day – an annual, nationwide initiative designed to get Britain gardening again after the winter months, whilst raising money for national children’s hospice garden charity, Greenfingers. The fun includes

‘Find The Winning Plot’ and a Garden Re-Leaf Day Raffle. All proceeds from both will go to Garden Re-Leaf Day’s Greenfingers appeal.
