Councillors help Redditch school to bloom

CHILDREN at Moon's Moat First School had a welcome surprise recently when councillors Juliet Brunner and Roger Hill popped in with bulbs and seeds.
The councillors are set on ensuring Redditch blooms in the Heart of England Towns in Bloom competition later in the year.
Coun Hill, who is also a governor at Moons Moat, said: “The children have their own gardening club and are very proud of their work."
And Coun Brunner added: “I'm really looking forward to seeing the fruits of their labours. I've no doubt because of the hard work done by all Redditch children that we will score very highly.”
