REDDITCH’S top business leaders recently attended a special lunch in Parliament.
After a tour of the Houses of Parliament, they had the opportunity to grab a drink and chat with MP Michael Fallon, Minister in the department for business, innovation and skills, before lunch.
During the lunch Mr Fallon gave a talk, focusing on what the Government is doing to help businesses going forward, and shared some of his plans and views.
The guests had the opportunity to ask questions, and the Minister gave responses on a range of issues.
Redditch MP Karen Lumley, who hosted the lunch, said: “It was such a great pleasure to welcome so many of Redditch’s key business people to Parliament.
“I was delighted that they had the opportunity to hear from the business Minister directly, and to put their very informed questions to him.”
She added: “I know that our constituents gave the Minister much food for thought to take back to the department with him.”
