YOUNGSTERS at Matchborough First School proved they loved their hearts during a special day of healthy activity.
As part of Matchborough Love Your Heart Day, on Valentine’s Day, youngsters all attended school in their sports clothes, many in red, for some fitness fun.
During the day each class visited the hall where they took part in a circuit of ‘heart pumping’ activities.
To introduce a further element of fun, throughout the day a bell rang, and when the children heard it, even if they were sat at their desks, they sprang up and did a minute’s worth of exercises, including star jumps and running on the spot.
A special Love Your Heart Lunch was also served to the children.
