THE town’s Territorial Army unit at Kohima House in Winyates Way is opening its doors to prospective new recruits.
Two open evenings have been organised as part of an extensive recruitment campaign taking place throughout February.
37 Signal Regiment (V) is just one TA unit across the country which will be hosting events to demonstrate to the public what the TA is all about.
Residents will be able to see and try out the kit and weaponry for themselves and find out more from serving soldiers.
Colonel Kevin Halus, Colonel TA Recruiting, said: “We think this is a great way to demonstrate and educate people in Redditch about the opportunities available with the TA and its contribution to the defence and security of the nation.
“There has never been a better time to be a Territorial Army soldier and we have so much to offer potential candidates. No matter what your talents, you can get involved.”
The open evenings are on Tuesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 21.
