A CONVENIENCE store based in Webheath has been shortlisted for Convenience Store Magazine’s prestigious Convenience Retail Awards.
Out of hundreds of entries Biddle’s Simply Fresh, on Birchfield Road, is a finalist in the Small Convenience Store category.
It could also walk away with the coveted, overall title of Convenience Retailer of the Year.
Simon Biddle, from the store, said: “It is an honour to have been shortlisted at the initial stage of judging let alone as a finalist.
“We are extremely passionate about our approach to running Biddle’s Simply Fresh with a focus on fresh, locally sourced produce, and so we are proud to be recognised for this and, of course, very excited to attend the glamorous awards ceremony.”
The ceremony, hosted by top comedian Hal Cruttenden, takes place in London in March.
