STAFF as well as residents at a Redditch care home recently rocked out in red for the day to support the British Heart Foundation.

Brambles Care Home, in Headless Cross, was a sea of red when people swapped their usual attire to show their heartfelt support for the charity.

They also took part in a number of music and movement sessions.

The aim was raise cash, through donations, to help the charity continue saving lives with its pioneering research, vital information and patient care.

Brambles’ manager Margaret Hook said: “Our residents had a fantastic day - raising money for a great cause and having fun at the same time.

“They absolutely loved their music and movement sessions and there was a real party atmosphere as they got the blood flowing with gentle workouts to upbeat music - and of course everybody looked fabulous in their red attire.”
