ASTWOOD Bank Beaver Scouts have proved they are scientists in the making after carrying out a number of challenges as part of their experiment badge.
They learnt how to make raisins dance by dropping them into a jug of lemonade and how to create static electricity by rubbing balloons on their jumpers.
Assistant Beaver Scout leader, Lynn Whitehouse, said: "The Beaver Scouts really enjoyed the evening and were very enthusiastic about all the experiments, especially making film canister rockets using fizzy tablets and water.
“All the Beaver Scouts have taken home a pot of seeds to grow as the final part of their challenge."
Scout leaders are all volunteers who give up their time to make a difference to the lives of young people.
