FIVE people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after a warrant was executed in Redditch.
The four men and one woman were arrested for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply in Flanders Close on Thursday, January 31.
A quantity of cannabis and what is believed to be amphetamine was seized.
The five people are currently at Redditch police station assisting with inquiries.
PC Richard Field of West Mercia Police said: “Drugs cause tremendous harm to the local community in terms of increased crime and anti social behaviour, as well as blighting the lives of addicts' families and close friends.
“The police are unrelenting in our efforts to combat drugs crime and we welcome all information provided by the public, who can ring the local non-emergency number 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. We take all reports seriously, investigate them thoroughly and if appropriate act on the information provided.”
