PEOPLE living in Batchley and Brockhill who have local concerns they would like addressed by their local PACT (Partners and Communities Together) are invited to attend a meeting in Redditch.

The PACT will meet this Thursday, February 7, at Batchley First School in Cherry Tree Walk at 7pm.

Community Support Officer Heather Webb said: "We are really keen to see as many people at this meeting. PACT has been successful in this area in improving the quality of life for local people and addressing problems.

"Issues such as incidents of anti-social behaviour affecting residents at the St David's House sheltered accommodation were tackled by us after they were recently raised at PACT and the council's environmental health team responded to complaints about rubbish outside the shops in Batchley Road.

"These are examples of some of the good work organised through the PACT panel which is made up of police, local authority and other agency representatives. But we need people to turn up, tell us their priorities and help us set the local agenda so we can take action and get things done."

Further information about PACT is available on the Local Policing section of the West Mercia Police website westmercia.pnn.police.uk.
