Man died as the result of industrial disease, inquest told

A MAN died as the result of an industrial disease an inquest has heard.

Raymond Bromage, 69, from Alcester Road in Wythall, died on December 16 last year at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.

During the course of his working life Mr Bromage was exposed to asbestos as a result of which he developed mesothelioma.

In later years he became unwell and was admitted to the Alex where he died.

Medical cause of death was given as mesothelioma and hypertension.

The coroner recorded a verdict of death as the result of an industrial disease.
