FECKENHAM Community Shop has invested in a new electronic till and stock control system with a little help from Worcestershire County Council, Redditch Borough Council, Feckenham Parish Council and the Feckenham Charity.
The shop which is now in its fifth year of trading is going from strength to strength thanks to the involvement of a number of local volunteers.
County councillor Philip Gretton said: “It gives me great pleasure to support this important venture in the life of the village. The shop is entirely staffed and run by volunteers. We know that residents, and people from all over the county, enjoy coming to shop here and pass time in the coffee shop. It has become an important focus of community life. Long may it continue.”
