MASTER storyteller Andrew Meller has been begged by psychologists to dilute his retellings of Edgar Allan Poe’s gothic ghost stories, as audience members have been leaving theatres gripped in fear and paranoia.

Edgar Allan Poe is the undisputed master of gothic horror.

His dark tales have for successive generations thrilled, excited and terrified.

His macabre imagination explores the darkest, deepest recesses of the human mind and the furthest reaches of the paranormal.

Claustrophobic nightmares of murder, madness and torture are his signature and with these retellings by master raconteur Andrew Meller, Poe’s greatest characters and most menacing scenes are brought, disturbingly to life.

Such is the skill of this wordsmith that audience members have claimed that his words haunt their dreams for nights after.

His shows are most definitely not for the faint hearted or weak minded, his is a performance for those only who revel in being scared.
