Raise local issues at supermarket PACT
3:00pm Tuesday 22nd January 2013 in News
RESIDENTS can raise local issues as well as doing their weekly shop at a meeting set to be held in a Redditch supermarket.
Redditch councillors and local police will be on hand as they host a drop in Partners and Communities Together (PACT) session in Tesco.
People from the ward covering Feckenham, Astwood Bank, Crabbs Cross, Headless Cross and Oakenshaw and West can catch the representatives on Thursday, January 31 from 2-7 pm.
Redditch Council leader Bill Hartnett said: “I attended the last "super PACT" where I met and spoke to people from all over the borough and indeed from outside of Redditch.
“People were really positive and raised issues and and asked questions which is what it is all about, if you see the PACT stand, stop and say hello."
Ward member Councillor Carole Gandy, who will be on hand at the meeting from 5-7pm, said: “These sessions are always popular and I look forward to chatting to my constituents and seeing how we can work together to make improvements to the place where they live or work.”
