Redditch Girlguiding leaders receive praise for hard work

LEADERS of Redditch Girlguiding recently attended a thanks and recognition tea at the Stone Manor Hotel.
The leaders, along with other Worcestershire guiding members, were treated to tea and cake after being presented with their awards.
Di Mowatt, Jenny Cole, Pat Coles and Val Locke received their good service certificates and Alex Brazier and Laura Carter received the senior section certificate of service.
The certificates were awarded as a thank you for their contribution to guiding at local and county level.
Di Hill was presented with her 30 years service badge and certificate. She is currently an assistant leader at two Brownie units and a Guide unit, and is also the division arts adviser.
The division presidents, Sandra Mitchell and Kath Peers, were also presented with long service awards at the division carol service.
