AN all singing, all dancing (and high kicking) woman from Hollywood has reached the grand final of a prestigious music competition with her band.

21-year-old Laura Fleming, also known as Candy Kisses, performs with vintage cabaret act The Pin Ups.

Inspired by the femme fatale pin ups of the war era the group specialises in singing, dancing, aerial tricks and general entertainment (sometimes in suspenders and stockings and sometimes not).

Ms Fleming, along with her band mates, entered the Open Mic UK last year and is through to the final, at the O2 in London, on January 19.

She said: “We’re absolutely thrilled. Singer/songwriter Birdy won it a couple of years ago and has had a number one single since so we're obviously keen on getting as much support as possible.”

A text vote is now open where people can text OPEN88 to 86222 which will help toward the group’s final score on the night.
