CAMERA retailer Jessops, which has a store in Redditch’s Kingfisher Shopping Centre, has gone into administration.
The company has been hit in recent years by increasing competition from supermarkets and internet retailers.
PricewaterhouseCoppers (PwC) which have been appointed as the administrators for the company, which was founded in Leicester in 1935, say that closures at some of its 192 stores was “inevitable”.
It also said that at present, Jessops would not honour customer vouchers or accept returned goods.
