Community set to benefit after extensive renovation to pharmacy

THE community is set to benefit after extensive renovations to a family-run pharmacy have been completed.
Scriptcare Limited, in Hill View Surgery on Bromsgrove Road, is now able to not only dispense prescriptions but provide a comprehensive range of community-based services.
The pharmacy, which relocated from Batchley Road, also includes the latest fittings and equipment.
Kiran Patel, from Scriptcare, said: “With the changes currently occurring throughout the healthcare sector, it made sense to move the pharmacy into the surgery and work collaboratively with the local GPs.
“The relocation has enabled us to become part of an integrated service for the local community, with patients now able to visit their doctor and collect their prescriptions at the same time.”
The renovations were made possible thanks to a funding package from Lloyds TSB Commercial.
Mr Patel, who has worked in Redditch for 27 years, added: “The team at Lloyds TSB Commercial were extremely helpful throughout the funding process, and the refit of the building has added to the professional and welcoming service that we are committed to providing.”
