IT is all change at Ipsley CofE School.

The school, in Winyates, is now called Ipsley CofE RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) Academy.

As well as becoming an academy, which is committed to inspiring young people, the former middle school will get a new headteacher, Patricia Hammond.

It will also have a new website, uniform and see its learning and recreational areas refurbished.

Mrs Hammond, who was senior vice principal of Whitley RSA Academy in Coventry for six years, said: “I am delighted to be appointed principal of Ipsley CE RSA Academy.

“I look forward to working with the Diocese of Worcester to support the pupils, staff and parents of Ipsley to ensure that our young people fulfil their potential and improve their life chances.”
